This is a LEAVE NO TRACE! event, which means that EVERY PARTICIPANT is responsible for the following:
Recycling & Trash - Please recycle and be responsible for your own trash. There is no trash collection at Burning Lamb. Everything that you bring in, will have to be taken out BY YOU. Prepare ahead of time so it is easier for you to pack up trash and take it away.
Bring reusable dishes, no paper/plastic - this includes plates, cups, silverware, containers. Both paper and plastic are bad for the environment. They are also expensive. Remember to bring a bowl, plate, cup, spook, knife and fork for your personal meals and use biodegradable soap for dishwashing.
No trace left behind - The concept of "no trace" is simple. It means that we will leave Panoche Hills the same as we found them. This includes cleaning up everything from the biggest items to the smallest. If it wasn't there before we came, it should not be there after we leave!
Fire Safety
We are allowed only two fires.
There must be designated fire & safety keepers at all times at any open fire.
There will be no firearms allowed in Panoche Hills.
Let yourself be.
Let others be.
Everyone is a welcomed guest and contributor.
Child-care and Pet-care
We welcome children of all ages and well-behaved pets. Even though Panoche Hills will be closed to the general public during Burning Lamb, please make sure to keep track of your children and pets to avoid them getting lost or causing any disruption. Please also keep in mind that this is a wilderness camping trip with limited primitive facilities. Remember to bring layered clothes for yourself and for your children. Remember to bring the food that your children will eat.
