Coldfoot Camp is located 260 miles north of Fairbanks, Alaska at mile 175 of the Dalton Highway. A person could reach us by land or air, on their own, or with the help of a transportation carrier.
We have compiled the following information for you to see what different options you have to reach Coldfoot Camp.
http://www.coldfootcamp.com/getting-here.htm
There are two places to buy gas: Yukon River Crossing, and Coldfoot. The Yukon River is reached at Mile 56. Here, there's a small log cabin visitor center staffed by the BLM, open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. You can pick up a lot of good road advice here. Also at the crossing is Yukon River Tours, offering boat trips three times each day.
2012 Passenger Rates
The above rates are based on departure from a terminal in Fairbanks (no hotel or airport pickups unless purchased as a Local Transfer). Each traveler is allowed a small carry-on and luggage (backpack, suitcase, duffel bag, etc.) that measures no more then 7200 cubic inches. For payment, reservation, and cancellation details click through here for BOOKING POLICIES.
Local Transfer: $15 per pick up or drop off
If a passenger requires a local transfer to the departure point, a local transfer can be arranged at $15 per Pick up or Drop off. This fee applies both for departures or arrivals if a different location outside of the central drop off point is required. http://www.daltonhighwayexpress.com/passenger-rates.htm
