Quick Update from San Ignacio, Peru!

Hi all! I'm still riding with Phil and Manu, and we crossed into Peru two days ago after 11 or 12 days without a day off. We'll have about 4 more days of riding until we reach Chachapoyas, where we'll finally get some rest, then we'll head south and west a little more until we reach Trujillo on the coast. Since Cuenca we've had some very challenging hills, both paved and unpaved, mud that made riding impossible, and we've camped in places from the páramo south of Cuenca, to a small village in northern Peru, where everyone in town came to watch us cook dinner. I think I have some good pictures of it all, but I won't have a chance to get them online until Chachapoyas. ¡Hasta luego!
