KAREN ANKERS
Karen is a graduate of Birmingham and Southampton universities. Brought up in Chester and an active member of the Chester Poets, she moved to Anglesey in 1997 and joined the Ucheldre Repertory Company in 2003. She has appeared in over 20 of their productions, including playing Muriel Wicksteed in "Habeus Corpus", Patricia in "Panic Stations", and Flora in "We Happy Few". She formed Pakala Productions, with Peter and Alan, in 2008 and is the writer of all Pakala's plays. She enjoys the creative freedom of writing, producing, directing and acting in her own plays.
PETER PRESTON
Peter celebrates 28 years as an actor in 2012 and has appeared in 58 stage productions since 1994. He has worked on a dozen film and television productions, usually as an extra but occasionally getting larger parts. These have included "Castle Ghosts of Wales" (1997), "Y Graith" (1998), "Porc Pei" (1998), "Porc Pies Bach" (1999), and "Scandal Congo House" (2000). A founder member of the Ucheldre Repertory Company in 1994, he has also worked with Loose Cannons in two marine dramas. Peter took two famous ships to the bottom of the sea, as Commander Bolus in "Thetis" and as Captain Taylor in "The Royal Charter".
ALAN PRILE
Alan started acting at an early age with local groups and at 13, played Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream (2004) with the Ucheldre Repertory Company. He has appeared in several productions for the URC including Much Ado About Nothing (2003), and The Taming of the Shrew (2005). He played Ptolemy XIV in National Geographic's "Mystery Files" and was nominated for best actor at the 2009 Anglesey Drama Festival. Alan toured with the National Youth Theatre of Wales production "Century" in 2009 and will be joining them again in 2012. He is currently studying for a drama degree in Manchester.
