Eagle-eyed, one ascends The Empyrean; seeks, finds Her Archetypal Forms: Truth, Goodness, Beauty. Then, one descends; delves, discerns; strives to create Her Shapes on Earth: as above, so below. When we know not where, nor how to go, let us re-mind: as above, so below.
“Annunciation”: America inspired, imbued; seeded with Equality, Liberty, Justice. A Trinity Who guides, guards, judges Civility, Our Polity.
A darkened creche: crib of values unborn--gestating--or stillborn.
Angel America: Her Emblem is Our Flag, girding her loins: a sign of hard work--fights--for democratic life. A banner starred & striped; barbed & barred.
The Light of Democratic Ideals shines on America’s Birth & Living; casts shadows.
Ideals also light Hope—Our Way Out of Darkness.
Hope awakens. Faith reveals: gives evidence for, what we cannot see; touches what we cannot feel; reaches what we, yet, cannot grasp.
Of Full Liberty, Equality, Justice, Heaven truly knows, but partial is their birth, that our Earth bestows.
Shouts of labor pain underneath Faith’s Wings, but one day a Full Birth’s Song all of them will sing.
