There are two parts to registration and annual dues with Pack 737.
1) National applications and dues are done directly at the Scouting America (BSA) webpage. This goes towards the broader Cub Scout program, insurance, district programming, etc. When you pay National dues, you also pay a Council Fee that goes to expenses from the Baltimore Area Council. These dues cover a 12-month time range.
Current Scouting America dues are $85 for Scouts, plus $75 for the Council fee. An optional $15 fee is charged yearly to receive Scout’s Life magazine.
Adult Leaders pay $71 currently with their National application, which covers a background check and insurance.
2) Local Pack 737 registration and dues are separate, as the Pack does not receive any part of the national dues. This fee goes to paying for advancement awards, the Blue & Gold Dinner, Pinewood Derby Car kits, Raingutter Regatta boat kits, and for supplies/events throughout the year. The Pack fee is per scout, per year. If you are joining mid-school year, please contact the Cubmaster or Treasurer regarding pro-rating this fee.
The 2025-26 Pack 737 dues are $125/Scout. You can pay through the Pack 737 Square Site online or directly to the Pack Treasurer. There is a $5 cash/check discount, for each scout.
While these fees cover most Pack expenses and events, they do not cover events that you may choose to attend which are run by the District or Council, such as the Klondike Derby, or Day Camp. Certain events will also have separate costs if food is provided.
Pack 737 does not have additional Pack-specific fees for adult leaders.
