LEADERSHIP

Our Pack is successful because of everyone that helps out.  Below is a list of some of these positions.  If you are interested in assisting with any of these positions please reach out to our Cubmaster, Steve Clardy.

Cubmaster

Steve Clardy

Steve is a native of Charlotte, NC having grown up in the Landsdowne neighborhood and earning his Eagle Scout award in 2002 from Sardis Presbyterian Church's Troop 33. Steve is a third generation scout himself and is continuing that tradition with his children now in Pack 33 and Troop 233 (girls' troop)Steve is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys teaching the fundamentals of camping, backpacking, and fishing.  Steve has attended Belk Scout Camp, the Chile World Jamboree, and multiple National Jamborees as a scout himself.  In addition to attending Philmont scout camp, he also served as a former Philmont Ranger.  He looks forward to getting to know all the families.

Assistant Cubmaster

Virginia Sutton

Virginia, a Charlotte native, heralds from a family with a long history with BSA.  Her father, 2 uncles, and male cousin are all Eagle Scouts and have impressed upon her the Boy Scout slogans and ethos throughout her life. Virginia grew up camping, hiking, and rock climbing with her father and though she was not able to be in Boy Scouts herself, she did help her father run a week long rock climbing class at Camp Grimes as a teenager for the Boy Scouts.  She is thrilled to have an opportunity to share this with her daughters through BSA today.  In addition to being assistant Webelos Den Leader, she is a trained Foundations Level I Instructor for the climbing towers and a NOVA mentor.

Committee Chair

Amy Dockery

Amy joined the scouting world with her very eager first born son, William for his Lion year in 2019. In 2022, she took on the role of Advancement Coordinator.  She enjoys shopping for and organizing the monthly awards for the cubscouts at pack meetings. In 2023,  she started serving as Pack 33 Committee Chair as well. As Committee Chair, she works as a liaison between the host location, Sardis Presbyterian and Pack 33.  She reserves the necessary rooms for meetings and helps keep the pack email roster up to date.
