About joining us       

Thank you for your interest in joining OSMPC

As you may already know, the club meets on Wednesdays (14:00) and Sundays (10:30), weather permitting. Friday afternoon is also often popular, but arranged on an ad hoc basis. (See below.)

On these occasions we play in a mêlée fashion: i.e. teams are drawn at the start of each session which allows for mixing people, abilities as well as styles of play.

Throughout the year competitions are organised in Devon, such as league matches, regional competitions and winter pairs, which you may wish to compete in. There are also open competitions in neighbouring counties and further afield.

On a different note, the club benefits from an online presence and if you are able and willing please feel free to like and follow our social media pages:   Facebook or  Instagram

 Our website is a great place for finding further information about the club, getting acquainted with the official rules of pétanque and finding links to other pétanque related sites. 

 Finally, we have a WhatsApp group open to all members. This is useful for individual members to arrange meeting others to play, especially on Friday afternoons. After April the Friday sessions will start later after 5pm.  There is no obligation to join the group as important information will be communicated by email. Please let us know if you would like to be added to the club’s WhatsApp group.
