Introduction to Capoeira and Creative Movement Workshop with Live Music

This pay-what-you-can one hour workshop will introduce some capoeira basics and explore moving creatively to the percussive sounds of capoeira music. It is designed for those starting their movement journey or eager to learn something new.  

Event Information:

• Date: Sunday, October 26

• Time: 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

• Address: 60 Waller St, UofO Labo Building Room 220

• Cost: Pay-what-you-can. Proceeds will be donated to St. Joe’s Women's Center

• Attire: Please wear longer bottoms and comfortable shirts. Capoeira is practiced in bare feet or with indoor shoes. 

• Arrival: Please arrive 10 minutes early to check-in.
