Dendê Do Recife Batizado & Troca de Cordas
Mestre Fabinho and Grupo de Capoeira Dendê Do Recife are hosting the 11th Batizado & Troca de Cordas this coming June.
Workshops & Rodas will start on Friday, June 29, 2018 and continue until Sunday, July , 2018. The graduation ceremony for both kids & adults will be held on Saturday, June 30 followed by a BBQ. Sunday is Canada Day in the capital, this means wild & jam-packed streets perfect for street rodas. Stay for the long-weekend and join the Canada Day street roda tradition that's been going for 15 years strong in Ottawa.
Participating in workshops and attending the Batizado ceremony are open to the public.
