Your task is to devise a hot spot map of a selection of major hazards in California. The map should include the locations of:

• A river flood
• A smog event
• A landslide
• A drought

Try to refer to the most recent examples possible. For each location, when you click on the dot the user should be able to:

• Access facts and figures about the hazard, including the date and time
• Get a detailed summary of how and why the hazard occurred, including diagrams where appropriate
• See YouTube^TM or Google Video footage as appropriate
