TRAVEL TO TULUM FROM CANCUN

There are several transport options to get to Tulum from Cancun airport. These include taking s shared van transfer, private transfers, public buses or the shuttle from Cancun to Tulum through Oscar Cancun Shuttle. You will find buses that are operated by ADO. They are comfortable, clean and cost-effective. After you clear customs, head to a desk with the ADO logo. Most of the staff speaks English so communication will not be an issue. While the bus does not travel directly it will drop you off Playa del Carmen or Cancun downtown. The price is reasonable and there are half prices for kids above three.

On the other hand travel from Tulum to the airport is not a problem as there is bus that travels thrice a day. As it is long ride the other option is to catch a bus to Playa del Carmen. It makes the long travel less tedious or you could choose to travel directly to Cancun. One of the benefits of travelling to Playa del Carmen is that it normally drops off passengers 5th avenue. It is only a block from the sea and lovely place to grab a bite. The ride to Playa el Carmen takes about three quarter of an hour. Once you arrive you can hop-off on Fifth Avenue close to Benito Juarez. It is the focal point for visitors and tourists to the area. From there catch a bus that will take you directly to Tulum that is ride lasting about 45 minutes into the centre of Tulum town.
