A great intimate interview of Robert Lang. Robert discuss the how origami designing has evolved in few decades with the introduction of of the field of computational sciences and the application of mathematical models.

Robert Lang explains how his origami designing software TreeMaker (a free software available for download) works. TreeMaker generates crease patterns which when collapsed make beautiful models of insects, birds, human and other creatures. The site also has a operational manual for the program. If someone wants to get into the details of the maths involved behind those crease patterns then he can read Robert Langs book "Origami Design Secrets: Mathematical Models of an Ancient Art".

It is not always easy to fold a crease pattern and it demands hours to fold on a large sheet of paper but the outcome is rewarding.
