I was going though some of my old bookmarks when I found this Ted Talk video. The speaker is Robert Lang an origamist and a physicist.
The video shows the elegant union of mathematics and origami. It highlights applications of origami for space missions, commercials and even makes a software to create a crease pattern of any animal or insect by just conceptual stick figures.
Must watch!!
