Among other things, volunteers can assist students in the classroom, plan field trips and other activities, chaperone field trips, transport students and instruments, help with fundraisers, serve on the Board of Directors, take photos, and support the Orchestra Director and students as needed. To support music education by volunteering, please contact the Orchestra Director or any board member. You can reach Ms. Karen Cramer at kcramer@nsd.org or Booster Board members at OrchestraBoosters1@gmail.com. Sign up sheets are also passed around at meetings and concerts.
When volunteers visit any school, they MUST sign in at the main office and obtain a Visitor's Badge to wear while they are on site. This lets students and staff know that you are supposed to be on campus.
Prior to volunteering: Parents, guardians and family members who are interested in volunteering should compete the following forms and submit them directly to their child's school or to the Orchestra Director.
