- DSS arrives at your facility
- All DSS employees will be in a company uniform and will display a Document Security Services badge at all times
- DSS makes contact with the appropriate individual to access the destruction request
- DSS will return to our designated shredding vehicle and park the vehicle at an agreed upon location
- DSS will collect the confidential materials
- DSS will have the appropriate employee release the agreed upon documents to our possession
- A DSS-Document Security Services form will be filled out and signed by our customer
- DSS will transfer the materials to our shredding vehicle via 96-gallon roll carts
- All materials that are collected and transferred will be shredded on-site
- The procedure may be witnessed by our customer if needed
- The materials will be lifted by a hydraulic arm and weighed
- The materials will then be emptied into the enclosed shredding chamber
- The empty cart will be returned to ground level
- The cumulative weight will be recorded on the DSS Form
- The destroyed materials will be kept locked in the truck body until the truck is full (10,000 lbs.)
- The destroyed materials will then be downloaded, baled, and recycled
- On-Site Shredding is NAID AAA CERTIFIED
Plant-Based Confidential Materials Destruction Protocol
- DSS arrives at your facility
- DSS makes contact with the appropriate individual to access the destruction request
- DSS will return to our designated route vehicle and park the vehicle at an agreed upon location
- DSS will collect the confidential materials
- DSS will have the appropriate employee release the agreed upon documents to our possession
- A Document Security Services form will be filled out and signed by our customer
- DSS will transfer the materials to our service vehicle via locked 96 gallon carts
- DSS will unlock the back of our service vehicle
- DSS will unlock the plastic ORANGE container that houses the confidential materials
- DSS will place the confidential materials into the ORANGE container and lock the lid
- DSS will complete the service call for our customer which may involve the removal of other materials that will be recycled
- DSS will lock the back of our vehicle
- DSS will unload the plastic ORANGE container into our Destruction Warehouse
- The DSS Destruction Warehouse is a closed, bonded, and secure facility
- The plastic ORANGE container will be weighed
- The weight of the materials will be recorded on the DSS form
- The materials will then be hydraulically lifted (tipped) into our stationary shredder
- The materials are shredded / ground and then automatically baled
- The bales of destroyed fiber are then sent to be recycled
- Plant-Based shredding is NAID AAA Certified.
