A Look Behind the Scenes at the Opera House

During Opera seasons, San Francisco Opera Guild docents usually lead scheduled groups through the War Memorial Opera House. The tour covers the architecture, construction, renovations, and colorful history of the building. Groups get to see the boxes, auditorium and backstage areas, Wig and Makeup department, and other areas as available. These tours are currently on hold.
