iMinds is an independent research institute founded by the Flemish government to stimulate ICT innovation. The iMinds team offers active support in R&D and brings together companies, authorities, and non-profit organizations to join forces on research projects.

The ONA was founded in June 2012 by Swedish ICT / Acreo, IBBT and Genexis, and was officially launched at ECOC 2012 in Amsterdam last September (originally with the name "Open Network Forum"). The ONA has been growing ever since.

iTux is among the major network providers (a.k.a. Communication Operators) in Sweden. iTux open network means a much greater choice of services from many providers.
INCA is a member-based organisation represented Britain's independent operators. It is structured as an Industrial and Provident Society. In the current early phase of INCA's development, while an initial body of members was being recruited, an interim board was in place, appointed by the founding steering group.

OpenNet International is a network provider (NP) delivering a product and an operational environment for the establishment and management of open broadband networks. As an NP, Opennet fulfils a role between the physical infrastructure provider, PIP (or network owner) and service providers (SP) and manages the active network via international operations centres; thus guaranteeing and enforcing the openness of the network.
The Optical Networking Group of University of Peloponnisos is a 10-people strong group working in core and access networks with main focus on "Future Internet" issues. It belongs to the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, with 23 academics and 15 technicians covering all aspects of Telecommunications and Computers.
