The Australasian Trade Workshop (ATW) is a highly respected trade-oriented conference, which I co-organise together with Frank Staehler from the University of Tuebingen, and Benedikt Heid from the University of Adelaide.
I was the local host for the ATW17 that took place at the University of Canterbury, on the 16th and 17th March 2024 in Christchurch, New Zealand. The last meeting (ATW 18) was hosted by the School of Economics and Finance at QUT, Brisbane, Australia, on the weekend of 15-16 March 2025, with local host Prof. Pascalis Raimondos.
The next meeting (ATW 19) will be hosted by the Deakin Business School at Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia, on March 20 and 21, 2026. You find the Call for Papers here.
The previous ATW meetings took place at the James Cook University in Cairns (2023), the University of Canterbury (virtually, 2022), RMIT University in Melbourne (2019), the University of Auckland (2018), the Queensland University of Technology (2017), the University of Adelaide (2016, 2011), the University of Sydney (2015), at Curtin University (2014), the University of Melbourne (2013), the University of New South Wales (2012), the ANU (2010) and the University of Otago (2006-9).
The Call for Papers is usually out around early September, and can be found on different platforms including the official ATW website. The ATW meetings usually take place in March. You are encouraged to submit and/or attend the annual meeting!
