After completing this activity, you will be able to:

· Explain the topic in a way that other classmates will be able to understand, using graphics.

· Analyze the reason you chose the topic.

· Identify key parts of the topic.

· Demonstrate the topic using facts and opinions.

This assignment will require you to create a visual presentation about the Seven Sacraments. You can discuss one Sacrament or more than one, or even compare a Sacrament to anything you chose, such as the Bible or current topics. You will use a presentation program of your choice. I prefer PowerPoint, but you can use anything. I would like to see at least ten slides, and graphics! You should include learning objectives as well. I am open to sources but would like to see at least three. If you are unfamiliar with presentation programs, please contact me so I can help you. I learned PowerPoint by experimenting and this is a great way to learn. Here is a video that explains how to use PowerPoint: Learn PowerPoint. I found a video demonstrating how to use Prezi if you chose that platform instead: Learn Prezi. YouTube is a great source for videos on everything you would like to learn about creating presentations.

The assignment will be completed after the third week of class, when we will discuss the Sacraments. I will send everyone a sign-up sheet with Google Documents that lists times you will be allowed to present your project on Skype. The times will be first come, first served so if you want a specific time, sign as soon as you can. Everyone can see the sheet, so you can see when your classmates sign up. On Google Document, when you sign for a specific time, you agree to present your project in our Skype group room. You will also receive extra credit points by commenting on your classmates' projects.
