Kiting safely in the Water
BODY DRAG DOWNWIND - This class shows you how to enter the water safely while controlling your kite and flying it into the power zone.
WATER RELAUNCH - After your kite has crashed, learn to relaunch it from the water.
SELF-RESCUE - In an emergency kiting situation, you need to learn to rescue yourself quickly and safely
BODY DRAG UPWIND - Learn to pull your body safely through the water to propel yourself like a rudder while using your board and/or body to create resistance.
STEADY PULL- Because this is the step before the water start, it is critical to learn how to align the forces of the kite, board and your feet on the board so that you are prepared to dive that kite down to give you the power to move forward while staying balanced.
WATER START - Discover how to successfully start on the water by getting the kite in the proper position for the power to drive and lift you onto the board.
FULL STOP - Learn how to come to a full stop while kiteboarding as it comes in handy and is very important to know when winds get too strong or you have to stop in an emergency.
RIGHT OF WAY RULES (ROW) - Learning these rules will keep you safe and avoid accidents. Similar to the rules for driving, the ROW rules are a must for safety and should be seen and learned by all kiteboarders to keep everyone safe even bystanders.
