Depending on wind direction, Basic Piloting may be offered at one of a few waterfront locations in Old Greenwich. Water Time may be conducted from the beach or from the powerboat in open water on the Long Island Sound.
How many hours does it take to become an independent kitesurfer?
All beginners progress at different rates based on previous experience in wind and boardsports. On average, 12 hours of instruction is required to ride upwind independently.
What kind of weather do you teach in?
Rain or shine, as long as there is consistent wind we will offer instruction. No lessons will be held in the event of thunderstorms.
