Class of '64 Tuition Assistance Fund
When a group of our classmates met informally in 2013 to talk about what we wanted to do for our 50th Class Reunion this year, one of the first ideas we decided to pursue was to see about a way we could give back to our school. After much discussion, it has been determined that a “Restricted Account” in the name of our Class of 1964 will be set up to receive donations. Donations to that account will be used by the school to assist in paying the tuition of OCHS students in need.
Any gift, regardless of size, can make a difference in a student’s life. Today’s students will be the esteemed educators, doctors, artists, scientists and business people of tomorrow. Our own class is a fine example of what can be achieved with the solid foundation of a Catholic education. By giving support to OCHS students today, we are helping those in need to become who they are destined to be in the future.
Please make your check payable to “Owensboro Catholic High School” and in the memo of the check write “Class of 1964 Restricted Tuition Assistance Account.” Your donation will be tax deductable and your will receive a ‘thank you’ tax receipt for your donation.
A donation is a way of showing our gratitude for our own education. Let’s make our Reunion 2014 a “class act” indeed by giving back to the future.
