Hi and welcome!
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Economics, Johannes Kepler University Linz. Prior to that, I was a Substitute Professor (2023-24) and a Postdoctoral Researcher (2016-2023) at the Department of Economics, University of Innsbruck, and a Postdoctoral Researcher (2014-2016) at the Chair of Finance and Economics, Goethe University Frankfurt. I received my PhD in Economics from the University of Vienna in 2014.
I am an industrial economist working primarily on applied theoretical models of price competition and product choice in imperfectly competitive markets, particularly when consumers face information frictions and/or exhibit behavioral biases. I am also interested in the functioning of markets for credence goods (such as expert services and products with unobservable environmental or social quality) and in competition policy more broadly.
You can find my research here, on Google Scholar, and in my academic CV.
