Martin Obradovits

Hi and welcome!

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Economics, Johannes Kepler University Linz. Prior to that, I was a Substitute Professor (2023-24) and a Postdoctoral Researcher (2016-2023) at the Department of Economics, University of Innsbruck.

I am an industrial economist working mainly on applied theoretical models of price competition and product choice in imperfectly competitive markets, especially when consumers face information frictions or/and are prone to behavioral biases. I am also interested in the functioning of markets for credence goods (such as expert services and products with eco-labels) and in competition policy more generally.
