Nidderdale

The Church in the Dale website includes details of the churches working together in Nidderdale, from Burnt Yates through to Pateley Bridge.

Fountains Abbey (National Trust) has been a site of worship since 1132 AD; services continue to be held at special times of the year, usually including Boxing Day, Good Friday and Pentecost along with ecumenical services such as Evensong and a Eucharist for St Benedict in the ruins of the Abbey itself or, occassionally, in St Mary's church, consecrated in 1878.
