The Red Storm Marching Band and Colorguard is the award-winning marching band of Nyack High School. A current 60 ensemble member band (and growing year to year), it is one of the few bands in the Hudson Valley to utilize not only traditional style of marching but has the addition of vocals and “nontraditional” instruments not usually found in a marching band like strings, basses, and guitars. The Red Storm Marching Band is a year-round ensemble that actively participates in supporting Nyack sports. Members participate during the Fall to support the Nyack Red Hawks Football team. In the Spring the Band marches in various local parades.
