Telephone-based teaching is based in student-centered learning. Instruction is designed in relation to students’ academic background, professional experience and knowledge in order to ensure the utmost benefits and application into practical use.

Concept

Telephone-based teaching is targeted at students who desire for private courses at their convenience. Students are able to establish the purpose of study, raise questions concerned and bring their issues into class discussion.

Conversation through Telephone-Based Teaching

Conversation is linked with work and daily-life activities. Students are motivated to think, communicate and interact as the teachers provide guidance, supply new words, correct errors and explain grammatical rules. The instruction is divided into three levels including general conversation, discussion and public speaking.

Writing through Telephone-Based Teaching

The key to effective writing is ideas and linguistics ability that communicate the meaningful ideas to readers. Students will be given a placement test to determine their skills and ability. Lessons include practices on idea expansion, brainstorming, organization and analytical thinking through an exposure to a variety of essay topics. As students develop their pieces of writing, teachers will correct the grammatical errors and help polish the linguistic subtleties. (Homework will be submitted through e-mail or fax)

Exam Preparation through Telephone-Based Teaching

Students will be given a placement test to assess the ability and background knowledge. Documents, a collection of previous exam questions and supplementary sheets are sent through e-mail. Instruction through telephone uses the same materials as in-class instruction.

Application

-Students complete the application forms identifying the purposes of study (i.e. conversation, writing and exam preparation). Application forms can be requested at nuienglish@hotmail.com or 089-883-4523.

-A confirmation will be notified to the students. Course periods are either five (1,800 baht) or ten hours (3,500 baht).
