(1) 電子電機產業:

承做內容:透過工業工程品質改善手法與Big Data應用,檢視下列兩大生產流程:ABS押出與真空壓縮成型,並找出造成不良品的原因,調整製程參數與最適化的成型條件,以降低電冰箱內箱半成品的不良率。

(2) 紡織產業:提升加工紗廠的經紗率(良品率)。第一階段 Proof of Concept 已經完成。

(3) LED產業:我們期初的目標是應用大數據演算法找出

- LED焊線(Wire Bond)製程NG的原因;- LED封裝點膠機台停機調機的原因。

(4) 半導體產業 case study:使用監督式類神經網路模型演算法 與 非監督式SOM演算法 建構大數據分析模式,把造成低良率的機台識別出來,進而找出造成低良率的關鍵因素。

(5) 智能藥廠:customer engagement, design questionnaire and data collection.

找出關鍵機台,導入預測維修。效益:lower unplanned downtime, lower preventive maintenance costs and reduce unanticipated repair costs。

SAP Taiwan, Fields involved: acted as an industry best practices adviser in Paper & Packaging Industry.

- Applied SAP best practice 'Configure to Order' to both order and production management, which not only timely calculated and provided a competitive quotation but also expedited the processes of production orders.

SAP Monthly Closing within one day (一日月結)

- Goal: pushed the time consumed for Monthly Financial Closing to one day.

- Benefit: to push all transaction data must be entered promptly and correctly on a daily basis. Management reports can be generated on the first day of month providing top management to be able to analyze and make precise decisions. Increased the efficiency of daily operations and provide the benchmark for management capability.

- Business Processes: focused on management of rationalizing daily operations including all transactions and their discrepancies: HR, loan, AR/AP, shipping, billing, debit/credit memo, GR/GI, IR, confirmations, etc. must be done and resolved precisely on a daily basis and before 17:30 or 22:00 last day of the month.

- Information Technology: created a platform to schedule more than 300 monthly closing related jobs to automatically run at 23:00 last day or 03:00 first day of month giving the jobs running sequences. Check points can be set to make sure results of previous jobs are correct to trigger the next jobs. CPU-time-intensive jobs will be parallel processing. Running status and results of these scheduled jobs can be checked easily to trace the current progress of monthly closing.

Inter-company transactions (cross company trade)

- Goal: tracking and solving financial discrepancies, due to the entry timing of transactions and process of single billing with multiple D/N, etc., among companies residing in same SAP client.

- Benefit: simplified processes of monthly-ending balance among cross company trade

- Business Processes: (1) SAP system automatically throwed various extra accounting entries, such as stock-in-transit..., in billing, GR and IR to balance accounts. (2) Two steps STO. (3) One steps STO. (4) Integrated both customers consign and vendor consign.

- Information Technology: threw various extra accounting entries through user exit; configured SAP IMG for one step STO; tested customers consign and vendor consign.

SAP Mobile system

- Tracked various statuses from sales order creation, scheduled production, scheduled GR, scheduled delivery, picking, packing and shipping; automatically issued warning once these steps were behind schedule.

Strategic planning for global enterprise information system, Packaging industry, 2011

- Innovated business models using an asset-light business approach that turned Information Technology (IT) into a Strategic Information System (SIS).

- The business model included Mobile Sales Unit, Corporate Branding, Seasoning Customers Requirements, Qualified Vendors, and Resources Integrator, which all were supported by Strategic Information System (SIS).

Researched in new emerging technologies and delivered evaluation reports to CIO, 2011

- Performed Gartner Research by studying its publication researching report, in the area of top 10 Technology Trends Impacting Information Infrastructure, Enterprise Information Management, and Predicts of Cloud Computing.

- Summarized the Key Findings and reported to Chief Information Officer (CIO)

Transformed enterprise information system to mobile devices: cellar phone and tablet PC, 2011

- Researched, evaluated and implemented both software & hardware platform for mobile applications used by senior managers and sales rep, including work flows, enterprise information portal, sales performance exception management, quotations & sales order, etc.

- Adopted mobile devices for processes re-engineering which enhanced operating efficiency and reduced operating costs, thereby increased profits and achieved real time, mobility, and efficiency.

- Analyzed return on investment (ROI) in term of quantity and quality.

- Referred SCOR to model the goods receipt, goods issue and physical inventory business processes.

- Identified benefits from the entire Supply Chain Management.

- Sketched out Enterprise Infrastructure by referring SCOR model.

- Pilot run for “Enterprise Research Center” and one of the “Manufacture Plants”.

- Established KPI through referring matrix in Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) implementation, High Tech Industry, 1/2007 - 6/2007

- Reviewed theory and formula of CRM.

- Data mining through SAP R/3 System to group customers into categories of loyal customers, potential customers, losing customers and lost customers according to their purchasing Recency, Frequency and Monetary (RFM).

- Applied Business Intelligent (BI) tool to analyze customers values trend through multi-dimension views: Sales Organization + Distribution Channel+ Division + Sales Persons + Customers.

Evaluated X-Trim (Greycon), a paper and film industry leading trim optimization software

- Installed and configured X-Trim. Trained planner to model paper machines, load sales orders from SAP and perform optimization. Compared trim results generated from X-Trim and results done manually.

Evaluated VCPowerPack (AiCOMP), an SAP add-on solution for product configuration in corrugated packaging industry.

- Examined its best practices for feasibility study.

Fields involved: senior consultant in MM and PP.

- Designed SAP organization structures for Logistics and analyzed its affection to management.

- Compiled/analyzed competitive solutions in production planning & product costing of TFT-LCD industry.

- Defined scope and trained MIS staff and key users in MM/PP.

Fields involved: consulting on physical inventory in MM module.

- Analyzed the difference of physical inventory between SAP and Canon’s current processes.

- Designed To-Be processes, add-on transactions and reports for Canon’s physical inventory.

- Supported China roll out project: data conversion for open PO and WO.

Sung Ching Supermarket (松青超市), Retail of daily food & consumer products, 3/2003 – 9/2003

Fields involved: SAP R/3 Retail post implementation support.

- Upgrade SAP from 4.0b to 4.6c. Modify SAP standard program to fix upgrade bugs (IDOC posting errors).

- Execute archiving strategy and identify archiving objects.

- BPR: Review and document current Retail business processes (50 Stores, 1 HQ and 2 DC including 1 Cross Docking) for two purposes: (1) planning to move heavy workloads from SAP to POS. (2) merging another supermarket company (25 chained stores) into SAP system. - Design SAP Business Blueprint for one of the subsidiary “China Youth Corp.”, a purchase & distribution center for daily food, vegetable, milk, etc. - Design auto ordering, FAX and GR posting programs to automate user requirements (add-ons).

Fields involved in SAP R/3 PP/MM/FI enhancement: system analysis and programming on key components consumption report, C class inventory weekly report and Citibank payment download program.

Infortrend Technology (普安科技), Inc., Manufacturer of RAID controllers, Consultant: 11/2002 – 1/2003

Fields involved: specifications and programming of specific development.

- Develop/enhance four transactions: BOM Mass Change, Production Order Batch Population, Serial Number Update MIGO and Serial Number Update MB1B. - Develop six reports: Material Movement Slip, Goods Return Slip, Material Document Cancel Report,

Transfer Posting, Goods Receipt and MRP Suggestion Report.

Fields involved: System analysis for POS interface to SAP R/3 development.

- Outbound process: Transfer Material Master data to POS.

- Inbound process: Read following data from POS -- GUI, sales order creation (consignment order), GUI tax amount in sales order, payment methods including down payment process in SAP billing and credit card process with its card type and number.

KST (康軒文教), a textbook publisher and retailer, Consultant position : 9/2002 – 12/2002

Fields involved in SAP R/3 implementation: system analysis on developing Online Store sub-module to enable KST’s retailers to book orders through Internet system. Complete system study and development of retailer login, product catalogue creation and Sales order creation transactions have been done. ITS is used to publish the transaction in web.

Implementation of SAP R/3 MM, PP modules, served as PP team lead. Under Steve’s supervision, data conversion was done in go-live phase and the PP module was able to meet schedule, customized according to client’s need, interfaced to Lotus Notes/Web and transferred SAP skill to client.
