Prof. Yong-Hee Lee was awarded the 2015 Rep. of Korea Best Scientist & Engineer Award (대한민국 최고과학기술인상). This award is one of the most prestigious awards that recognizes Korea's Best Scientist and Engineer. The selection of the awardee was carefully performed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, together with the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies (KOFST). It is awarded to the most distinguished Korean scholar for reaching the highest level in their fields.
Prof. Yong-Hee Lee was awarded for his achievement and contribution to the field of Photonic Crystal.
