Community Safety & Security Programme

For Sec 2 Cadets

CSSP is a VIA project within the school community. Cadets are to understand that to be socially conscious is to take ownership of educating the school community on safety and security as well as to assist in enforcing those values and beliefs through actions.

You may direct your cadets to the Cadet Learning Hub to learn more about CSSP and PYA.

To qualify for the CSSP Badge

1. Group the cadets into groups of not more than 5 cadets per group.

2. Identify areas of concern or interest in your school, such as theft, bullying, vandalism, alcohol/drug abuse, smoking, anti-terrorism, scamming, etc. You may ask your cadets to ask your School's Discipline Committee or Prefects for them to better understand their school's areas of concern.

3. Each group of cadets will be carrying out activities such as using posters, creating booths, making presentations, or performing skits to actively spread awareness of anti-crime messages.

Submission Requirements

Upload the following at the submissions page:

(a) 1 Best CSSP document (Group report with cover page), and

(b) Photo or video evidence of cadet interaction activity in school (minimum 5 photos).
