The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) is a three member group appointed by the board and defined in Article VI of the CC&R's with the purpose of "enforcing architectural standards of the community and to approve or disapprove plans for improvements proposed for the Lots."
In short, the ACC tries to make sure no one paints their house neon-purple or landscapes their front yard with nothing but large statues and colored rock - the kinds of things that could devalue all our homes.
According to Section 6.3 of the CC&R's, "No building, fence, wall, patio, deck, outbuilding, landscaping, pool, athletic facility or other structure or improvement shall be erected, altered, added onto or repaired upon an portion of the Property without the prior written consent of the ACC..."
If you're planning on doing anything to your yard or house, complete a request by logging in to the portal and clicking on Submit a New Request at the bottom of the Dashboard screen. Then the committee has 30 days to approve or disapprove your application - but we aim for getting back to you within a few days.
There is no charge for a homeowner to submit an application.
