Responsibilities:
Talk to sponsor to get details on, and confirm:
Theater Details
size (number seats, stage size, ceiling clearance)
backstage? wings? green room?
stairs to stage?
band chairs available (15-20)
Tech (sound, lights) - equipment and staff
Rigging - options (if we have an aerial act)
Schedule (load in, load out)
Stage Dressing (banners, etc)
Talk to Performers / Acts
Any large props?
Lighting or Sound needs (wants)?
Begin working with tentative show committee
List of acts, needs, etc.
Will we have Programs? If so may need to coordinate with Theaters to see if they have an insert or what-not...
Visit theater ASAP upon arriving in town to visually confirm details and get the layout, etc...
