SOme of those sites will be strictly devoted to providing software and others include software as just part of their websevice. Good software doesn't have to be expensive and free software can be very good so check the reviews and try the free ones before you spend your money. Ask your fellow genealogists for their recommendations. Remember that if you store all your records online at a subscription site that it will be unavailable to you if you no longer have a subscription. ALWAYS download a backup of your results.
