For Week of 5 October
Our church office hours are now: Wednesday 9:30-1:30; Thursday 11-3; and Friday 11-3.
We have begun our pledge campaign for 2027. Please fill out one of the brochures telling us how much you intend to give to the church next year so that we can manage our budget accordingly. “Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also!” (Matthew 6:21)
The Trustees are investing in AED devices (Automated External Defibrillator) for the church. If you would like to be part of the training session led by the Red Cross, please sign up in the narthex. Date and time to be determined.
If you signed up to contribute one of the devotions for our Advent Devotional, please submit your reflections to Elaine Roffo by November 1.
Our Pastor’s Study has begun looking at the book of Genesis. Bring your own Bible and join us! We won’t be using any other books for this one.
To support the North Kingstown Food Pantry, we are going to supply the ingredients for a “Recipe of the Month” meal kit in January. Please put the supplies in the narthex on the shelves that the Sierra Leone items were previously on. We need to collect supplies for 100 bags. Each bag will contain:
-Spaghetti, 1lb Dry
-Chicken, Canned (10 ozs.)
-Diced Tomatoes, 15 Oz Can (2 per recipe)
-Cream of Chicken Soup, Canned
-Mushroom Pieces, Canned
Please contribute regularly to our four ongoing collections in the narthex – food for the North Kingstown Food Pantry, supplies for the North Kingstown Animal Shelter, plastic films and bags for our recycling project, and clothing and small appliances for the Open Closet program at Open Table of Christ UMC in Providence.
The Pastor's Study is in-person in the church library and by Zoom (contact the church office for the Zoom link.) Click here for Book Study info.

This is all at absolutely no cost to you - no hidden fees, no annual membership, no increased costs. Learn more by clicking here.
