Core Music are based in the beautiful market town of Hexham in Northumberland, UK. The main focus of their work is in the Tyne Valley area of Northumberland, but are open to partnerships and collaborations with others who may work outside of this area or the UK.The Core Music Promise:Their aim is to benefit the community, and to provide access to music for anyone, whatever their circumstances, age or ability. All the money they take in through the shop and other activities is used for example for: >subsidising music clubs and sessions >employing local people, >offering volunteering opportunities, >providing local music teachers with a base to work from, >providing music-related advice for individuals and organisations >supporting community music events
