This is a Google group. If you don't have a Google account, you can still be on the email list. 

If you have gmail email address, you have a Google account.  But you can sign up for a Google account without a Gmail address, see the Google Create Account Page . But if you don't have a Google account, you won't be able to access the group pages and set preferences.  See the Join Help page for details of why this is the case.

It works best if you create the Google account first, and then join the group with that account. But you can join here first and then link sign in once your Google account is created.

Please give a brief intro for yourself when you sign up so that we know you're not a bot and not made of Spam. e have been getting an increased number of bogus spam join requests, so any join request that does not have an intro with some amount of Ultimate content will be rejected.
