The NC CCBD is the North Carolina Council for Children with Behavioral Disorders, a subdivision of the Council for Children with Behavioral Disorders (CCBD), a division of the International Council for Exceptional Children (CEC).

The Purpose (Mission)
NC CCBD is dedicated to be the voice and vision of special education
for children and youth with or at risk of emotional and behavioral
disorders and their families within North Carolina. Thus, it is committed
to establish cooperative partnerships within CEC, with general education, and with other professional organizations with shared commitment.
