Garlic Sesame Noodles with Shrimp
Ingredients:
1/2 package of Asian wheat noodles (Ramen noodles, 200 g)
2 large handfuls of fresh green string beans
1 tbsp of vegetable oil
1 bag of frozen or fresh raw shrimp, tails removed, deveined
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp of fresh ginger root, minced
2 tbsp of oyster sauce
1 tbsp of soy sauce
black pepper
2 tbsp of sesame seeds
juice of 1 lime
3 large green onions, sliced diagonally
Directions:
Step 1: Cook the noodles according to it's package. Drain and reserve. Steam the green beans for 3-4 minutes, make sure they are still crunchy.
Step 2: In a large frying pan over medium-low heat, add the vegetable oil and let it heat. Add the raw shrimp, seasoned with black pepper. After a few seconds add the garlic and ginger. Mix around and flip the shrimp. Shrimp does not take very long to cook, 20-30 seconds per side will do.
Step 3: Lower the heat to low. Add the green beans and cooked noodles to the dish. Add the oyster sauce and soy sauce and mix around. Squeeze the lime over the dish and mix.
Step 4: Place ingredients on a serving plate, sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions. Garnish with lime wedges.
