Film of Coastal Command operations during World war 2 is rare.
The film, Ship Busters, comprises some operational footage, and some staged footage, which was taken after VE Day. The latter has shots of 489 Squadron aircraft, their personnel and Hal Blampied's car (stacked with 489 personnel) As this is too large for this web site, it can be viewed on You Tube under the title SHIP BUSTERS - SVELGEN NORWAY. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BouPNl3AnU&feature=related
The opening shots in Bristol Beaufighter - Ten Gun Terror contains excerpts from Ship Busters, showing 489 aircraft; and later it shows an operation in the Friesen Islands - July 1944, with 489 aircraft participating in a Wing attack. This fi can also be viewed on You Tube.
