Principal Investigator
N. M. Anoop Krishnan: Anoop completed his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Science Bangalore in 2015, after which, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in University of California Los Angeles from 2015 to 2017. Prior to this, he completed his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from NIT Calicut in 2009. In October 2017, he joined IIT Delhi in the Department of Civil Engineering and heads the M3RG. He also holds a joint position in the Yardi School of Intelligence, IIT Delhi.

Ashish Yadav: Ashish works on the atomistic and mesoscale mechanics of calcium silicate hydrates gel (cement hydrates). He completed his B.Tech and M.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Delhi prior to joining M3RG, IIT Delhi as a research scholar.
Venkateswarlu Polugari: Venkat works on understanding the structure of clay minerals using experiments and simulations. Jointly supervised with Prof. K. S. Rao.
Mohd. Zaki (PMRF): Mohd. works on combining atomistic simulations and machine learning to understand the structure and properties of glassy materials. He completed his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from MNIT Allahabad prior to joining M3RG, IIT Delhi as a research scholar. Jointly supervised with Prof. Sayan Ranu and Prof. Jayadeva.
Sourav Sahoo (PMRF): Sourav works on understanding the scratch damage in glasses using experiments and simulations. He completed his B.Tech in Materials Science and Engineering from NIT Rourkela prior to joining M3RG, IIT Delhi as a research scholar. Jointly supervised with Prof. Nitya Nand Gosvami.
Suresh Bishnoi (PMRF): Suresh works on the development of novel graph neural networks with physics-bsaed inductive biases for modeling dynamical systems. He completed his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Delhi prior to joining M3RG, IIT Delhi as a research scholar. Jointly supervised with Prof. Sayan Ranu and Prof. Jayadeva.
Shweta Rani Keshri: Shweta works on the development of novel glass electrolytes using experimental studies. She was working as a research associate at CGCRI, Kolkata prior to joining M3RG, IIT Delhi as a research scholar. Jointly supervised with Prof. Nitya Nand Gosvami.
Sajid Mannan (PMRF): Sajid works on the development of multiscale methods ranging from atomistic to continuum scales employing machine learning and modeling. He completed his udergraduate from NIT, Hamirpur before joining M3RG. Jointly supervised with Prof. Nitya Nand Gosvami.
Sheikh Junaid Fayaz: Junaid works on the development of AI models for the prediction of clinker quality directly from the industrial data. He completed his B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from NIT Srinagar before joining M3RG.
Hargun Singh Grover: Hargun works on using NLP and ML for accelerated discovery of materials. He completed his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Delhi before joining M3RG.
Dushyant Soni: Dushyant works on the development of a music and yoga therapy module for treatment of post-stroke non-fluent aphasic patients. He is trained yoga instructor and works on the collaborative project between IIT Delhi and AIIMS. Jointly supervised with Prof. Rahul Garg.
Sanchit Bedi (PMRF): Sanchit works on the development of physics-informed machine learning models for predicting the evolution of air quality in the atmosphere. He completed his B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from IIT Delhi prior to joining M3RG. Jointly supervised with Prof. Sri Harsha Kota.
Indrajeet Mandal: Indrajeet works on the development of novel glass compositions for electrolytes employing AI/ML and experiments. He completed his Masters and Bachelors in Physics from Kalyani University and worked in CGCRI before joining M3RG. Jointly supervised with Prof. Nitya Nand Gosvami.
Ramachandra N. U.: Ramachandra works on understanding the evolution of aesthetics of Indian classical music. He has an bachelors and masters in Sanskrit and is working as professor in Jain University, Bangalore. He is currently pursuing his part-time PhD in M3RG.
Anjali Bansal: Anjali works on the development of AI models for developing sewer networks. She worked in Ramboll and is currently pursuing her part-time PhD in M3RG. Jointly supervised with Prof. Sri Harsha Kota.
Debarchan Basu: Debarchan works on machine learning ab-initio and classical molecular dynamics simulations to develop scalable interatomic potentials. He completed his Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from BITS Pilani and Masters in Chemical Engineering from IISc Bangalore before joining IIT Delhi. Jointly supervised with Prof. Sayan Ranu.
Kausik Hira: Kausik works on information extraction in the materials domain from text and tables. Jointly supervised with Prof. Mausam.
Vaibhav Bihani: Vaibhav works on the development of novel machine learning and reinforcement learning algorithms for discovery of disordered materials and exploration of the energy landscape. He completed his B.Tech. and M.Tech. from IIT Delhi before joining for PhD at M3RG. Jointly supervised with Prof. Sayan Ranu.
Saalik Mubeen: Saalik works on the development of novel Lagrangian and Hamiltonian graph neural networks for predicting the dynamics of deformable bodies. He completed his B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from NIT Srinagar before joining M3RG. Jointly supervised with Prof. Saikar Sarkar.

Akash Kumar Singh: Akash works on the application of graph coarsening with physics-informed machine learning for oil field modeling. He completed is B.Tech. in Data Science from IISER Pune. Jointly supervised with Prof. Sayan Ranu.

Ravinder (PMRF) (2023): Ravinder worked on machine learning for modeling the mechanics of glasses and other materials. He completed his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Roorkee. He worked in industry for a year after which joined M3RG, IIT Delhi as a research scholar. Following his PhD, he worked as a postdoctoral scholar at University of Wisconsin-Madison. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor at IIT Indore. Rajesh Kumar (2023): Rajesh worked on the development of interatomic potentials and simulation of silicate glasses. He completed his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Hamirpur and M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Kanpur. He worked in the industry and in academia for a few years before joining M3RG, IIT Delhi as a research scholar. He is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at M3RG.
Kasimuthumaniyan (2023): Kasi worked on nanoscale experiments in glasses. He was a research scholar under the joint supervision of Prof. Nitya Nand Gosvami and Prof. Krishnan. He is currently working as a postdoctoral scholar in University of Calgary, Canada.

Meer Mehran Rashid (2023): Mehran worked on the application on neural operators for predicting the stress and strain evolution in digital composites. He obtained his B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from NIT Srinagar and is currently doing his PhD at Johns Hopkins University, USA.
