About

I am a postdoctoral researcher at University of Galway on the RAPIDE project , Ireland and an adjunct faculty at Sri Innovation and Research Foundation (A Data Innovation & Research Organization), Ghaziabad, India. I received my PhD in Physics from Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi, India with a focus on nonlinear dynamics and complex systems. My research interest lies in creating data driven mathematical models, both deterministic and stochastic, for infectious disease dynamics. The key questions I am interested in are the effects of biodiversity, ecological complexity, and climate change on directly transmitted and vector borne infectious diseases. I am currently expanding my skillset by learning systems dynamics, with a specific focus on modeling patient care pathways to develop effective and data-driven disease control policies.
