  2. Easy Way To Fund Council
    • Use Amazon Smile to have Amazon help fund Monmouth Council.  Read this article, then using your normal Amazon ID, log into Amazon Smile and register your charity as "Monmouth Council - Boy Scouts of America Council".  Then just use Amazon Smile as your portal to all your Amazon shopping needs and Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price or your purchases to our Council.  (Much simpler than other fund raisers!)

Eagle Projects Available at Twin Lights State Historic Site, Cheesequake State Park, and Holmdel Township.  These are some outstanding opportunities for our Eagle prospects to assist the community while demonstrating scout spirit.  As usual, please coordinate with your unit's leadership any planned project and its appropriate reviews.
    • Twin Lights State Historic Site (site contact: Margaret Carlson at margaret.carlsen @dep.nj.gov ) :
      • Handicap ramp repair/ painting/ staining.
      • Landscape clean up and trail creation
    • Holmdel Township:
      • Bayonet Farm trail repairs - Ramanessin Trail requires improvement to eliminate erosion and installation of steps (contact me)
      • Ramanessin Brook Greenway - new trail sections being prepared with signage and installation of trail elements (contact Larry Fink, maillarryf @gmail.com)
    • Cheesequake State Park (site contact: Jimmy Faczak at james.faczak @dep.nj.gov):
      • Trail repair and garden site upgrades
      • Trail Signs' installation and trail repair
  4. FSR Zip Line Prep
    • It's a chain saw, pruning and axe extravangza!  Clear trees and limbs in advance of the new Zip Line installation at Forestburg April 28-30. While at Forestburg to help clear the way for our new high adventure zip line you will be provided cabin bunk space Friday and Saturday night and will be fed on Saturday and Sunday (you can also come up just for a half day without sleeping over).  Bring your tree clearing tools and help Council add the new Zip Line for our scouts (opening this summer).  Please alert John Kilduff and Bob Buob (cc'ed above) if you will be able to assist so space and food provisions are readied for this great project.

Klondike Derby Rescheduled for February 2, 2019

The Klondike Derby has been rescheduled for SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 2.

April 2018 Camping and Rifle Shooting Trip to Fort Dix

Annual Trip to Winterburg is Feb 16-18

The annual trip to Forrestburg for winter camping (in a cabin) will be February 16-18 .  We will depart from Webster Hall on Friday afternoon (time TBD) and return on Sunday.  Its a great trip with skating and other outdoor activities.  Please check your email for trip details... or contact Mr Maier.

Scout Sunday will be celebrated at St James Roman Catholic Church in Red Bank on Feb 4 at noon.  Scouts and Scouters will
assemble in Class-A Uniform at 11:15 am in the School Cafeteria.  See the attached flyer for details.

Klondike Derby - January 17

The Klondike derby is a day outdoors where teams of scouts compete at several different tasks including: fire making, ice rescue, sledging, first aid, etc.  We will meet at Tower Hill at 7:00 AM, competition begins at 9.  See your scout email for details and permission slips.
