The New Jersey Society of Medical Assistants (NJSMA) is a non-profit organization that provides medical assisting professionals the opportunity to enhance and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and professionalism that is required by employers and patients. We welcome all credentialed medical assisting professionals to our membership.
Annual Convention and CEU Saturdays
The Annual Convention is held each year to supply continuing education credits as well conducting our annual Business Meeting. This meeting is generally held in April. We welcome those who wish to work with us during the planning process! (see separate Convention page)
Our CEU Saturday (remote) events provide members another opportunity to obtain continuing education credits necessary to maintain certification. We also provide ceus, on ocassion, before/after our BOT meetings.
