COACH ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
You should have passed all four rules modules. Status of modules passed will be used to influence the handling of disputes.
The list of officials, along with their eligibility status, is on the website – please make sure you get the names of the officials working your game to ensure they are eligible to do so.
There is also a form on the website to evaluate the officials – home and away teams MUST do this after each game to aid in development and highlight issues that may need to be communicated to the league.
Please submit one evaluation per official – NOT ONE PER PAIR – and use their name (because you got it before the game started). The league cannot provide feedback to ‘the blond kid with the ponytail’ if you have an issue – we need a name.
5/6 and 7/8 coaches only: winning coach should submit the final score to NJPAHockey@gmail.com after the game so the standings can be updated. These standings do not need to be disclosed to your players if you don’t want to. The intent is for seeding the year-end events so all teams have a better experience, and to give coaches an opportunity to plan ahead for their next game. In the case of a tie, the home team should report.
Make sure your rosters are on the website – complete with grade, experience, jersey numbers and club affiliation (if applicable).
Make sure your information is on the website under your town’s page – other coaches may need to get a hold of you during the season
