When visiting Island Krk, we suggest you look for accommodation in Penezić. The place is easy to find if you follow the sign for Valbiska, where is the ferry for Island Cres.  

Penezić is a lovely place located 11 kilometers west from town of Krk and about 28 kilometers from the bridge that connects the Island with the mainland. About 500 people are residing here during the winter months, while in summer that number reaches 1500. It is a quiet green spot, ecologically clean and without industry. The swimming beach is only 500 meters away, it is apart from the port of St. Fuska and the trees along the beach are providing natural shade. A spacious parking is located just before the beach, and there is shower and restroom. Refreshment facility offering food and drink is right on the beach.

If you like to take a trip to the nearby Islands of Rab, Cres and Lošinj, you can catch a ferry from a port that is about 2 kilometers away. At the same place you could find a petrol station if you decide to do some Island cruising. There are two restaurants in the vicinity.
