Your x-trail comes with a built-in immobilizer system. Do not mix your
alarm system with immobilizer system. There are totally separated. You can
know your immobilizer system whether activated or deactivated by observing
a small red light/led on the top of the dashboard (Right hand side near
the front windscreen). If the red led is OFF, the system is deactivated.
When it is blinking, your system is activated. If the led is ON all the
time, there is a problem with your immobilizer system. Under this
situation, you won’t able to start your engine. The immobilizer will
enter “LOCK” mode if you unable to start your engine due to
electronic/wiring faulty, and you keep starting the car more than 5 or 6
times. (the immobilizer treats this as an intrusion). To UNLOCK it, you
need to refer to your operation manual or call TC. The system will
activate and deactivate itself when you start and stop your engine. You
cannot activate or deactivate it.
Your immobilizer system include 2 pc ignition keys, an antenna (near
ignition switch), an immobilizer control module (ICM) and ECM. Each
ignition key comes with a fixed transponder/chip implanted inside it (not
in your alarm remote control). When you turn your ignition key to “ON”
position, the antenna will receive a transponder code remotely from the
key and send to ICM. ECM at the same time will send the pre-registered
code to ICM. The ICM will compare these codes. If the codes are match, ICM
will allow ECM to start the engine, and the led will OFF (system
deactivated). If the codes are not match (different code or no code), the
led will ON all the time, and engine is not allow to start by cutting off
signal to fuel pump and ignition switch. If the engine is off and ignition
key is removed, the system is activated. The led will blink to warn the
intruder. By removing your car battery will not affect the immobilizer
system and need not register, for security purposes.
Your immobilizer system allows up to 5 keys to be registered and it needs
to be done by using NISSAN hand held computer called the CONSULT II. If
you lost your key, you have to purchase a blank key from Nissan/TC, cut it
and register. The lost key cannot start the engine after registration
because the registration process will delete all the existing keys code
before new codes can be entered. In some newer Nissan models (eg: March,
Teana, 350Z, some Frontiers, etcs), a password from Nissan Japan is needed
to register the key. Registration process is required again when you
change your ECM which either empty or pre-register with different code,
again for security purpose.
Sentra 1.5&1.6, Serena are fitted with 3 party immobilizer that is easily
by pass. (Normally, the glass like transponder tube is located either
inside the remote or keys for this system). Sentra 1.8, X-trails &
frontiers are fitted with built-in type of immobilizer system which is
more secure and impossible to by-pass. An additional third party
immobilizer system for cars come with built in immobilizer system is not
necessary because of redundancy and it may cause interference to
electronic system if not install properly.

Проштудировав манул, нашёл вот что: переводим ключ зажигания в полжене ON ждём не менее 5 сек. далее в положение OF ждём не менее 5 сек. потом опять в полжене ON ждём не менее 5 сек. далее в положение OF ждём не менее 5 сек. а потм заводим и о чудо стартер заработал машинка завелась!

Спасибо огромное - мне этот танец с бубном тож помог.
История: завелся отлично на холодную( -25), проехал километр, заглушил на 15 мин. После этого не заводится - крутит стартер до опупения и не схватывает.
Пошел домой. Пока вызывал ниссановскую поддержку, прочитал это и другие сообщения в инете. Вернулся, попытался сразу завести - никак.
Выполнил ритуал: руль влево до упора, руль вправо до упора, ключ зажигания как описано выше. И после этого машина опять заводится с полоборота.
Вот только ни диллер ни сам Ниссан не признают действие этого шаманства. Это что, действительно отключает штатный иммобилайзер и позволяет увести любой X-trail (или вообще Ниссан) со стандартной защитой?
