Nan Harvey Memorial Award:
An award was named in the honor of Nan Harvey. Nan was an umpire in our organization who stood for everything that is good about softball and women’s sport in general. Nan provided all around her the incentive to strive to be the best you can. She promoted women’s sports in Western New York and nationally. The award is given to some one who has shown exceptional commitment to women’s softball.

John Verbocy Memorial Award:
An award was named in honor of Pete Fox and John Verbocy. These men were not only outstanding officials but were even better people. The award is given yearly to a member of the Niagara Frontier Umpires Association who exhibits the traits they stood for.
It is given to some one who is in the game for the true love of the sport of High School Softball.
