There are numerous social media groups relating to genealogy and research where you can post your own queries. Some requests work better than others. Before posting a question, have a look at this blog giving tips on "asking for help the right way".

Some groups/pages are "closed", meaning you can't participate or see the content until you've joined the group.

BE AWARE: Because of spammers, some group administrators will not approve your request to join their group if your Facebook profile is too private, i.e. shows nothing about you.
