GATA Tournaments
GATA Fall is an early tournament that uses slightly easier-than-usual questions to help new teams get into the game, as well as more experienced players who need to "shake off the rust". It may also contain a novice division for inexperienced teams to compete against each other.

GATA Trash is a fun mid-year tournament that will test players' knowledge on past and current popular culture. We will use the Ohio HS Trash set, a well written and received set used at HS events in Ohio and Tennessee. This event will take place at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville. The 2024 edition will be a singles tournament (think IPCT/History Bee) for cash prizes.
GATA Winter is a mid-year event with questions of more traditional difficulty. It has multiple divisions and like the fall tournament, is divided between a north and south location to accommodate the geography of the state.

GATA Tournament fees:
All GATA events: $80 per team (please contact GATA if there are ever any circumstances), $70 for each additional team (limit of four teams for Fall and South, 2 for JV and 1 for Varsity. GNATS is based on SS/HSNCT qualification).
*For 2024 V State only: $80 entry fee is waived if teams bring a worker/reader. If not, the fee is $80.
Discounts: -$10 for one reader and -$20 for two readers.
